MAXIM
Maxim is a German producer, DJ, and entrepreneur. While living in Germany’s house and techno hotbeds Hamburg and Berlin, Maxim was seduced by the rhythmic power of house music and techno. It was then when he decided to dedicate his life to music and stand behind the decks rather than on the dance floor.
Thirsty for new adventures and challenges, Maxim moved to Guangzhou, China, where he soon established himself as one of the most sought-after DJs.
Maxim’s ventures including “La Villa Rouge,” the first open air club in all of South China, and “Eutopia,” a weekly daytime party series, massively influenced the electronic music movement in China.
Maxim’s sound can be described as a combination of classic deep house elements with minimal house cuts. In his debut Ep ” Saint Marie”, Maxim seamlessly intertwines his, forward-moving bass lines with crisp drums and esoteric, dreamy pads in a bright and inviting atmosphere.
His release on Sous Vide Records came out in 2021. The EP contains three dance floor movers combining classic deep house elements with minimal house cuts.
