BCHIR is currently one of Chengdu’s most popular international DJs. From Rabat, Morocco, the electronic music enthusiast started as a ‘bedroom DJ’, making podcasts and CD-mixes for his entourage. Being part of the organization of “State of Mind”, the first Electronic Music Festival in his hometown Rabat held in 2008, was what pushed him to take his musical interest a bit further. From that point he started hosting and DJ-ing at special events and private parties. Since he moved to Chengdu, he played at all the major local nightclubs together with local as well as international DJs.

When he’s not performing, BCHIR spends his time creating his own music and polishing his playlists. For him, it’s all about creating a good vibe and a deep hypnotic groove, playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless the genre, tempo, style or release date.
